Difference Between a Dehumidifier and an Air-Conditioner!

As the summer strikes and temperature rises, people immediately switch their air-conditioners on or do not hesitate from investing in one. Switching to an air-conditioner is the safest way to beat the heat. However, for places which witness not only heat but also humidity, people find it more difficult to feel comfortable. The reason for this is that when humidity strikes, it not only makes us feel hot but also makes the environment humid, which in turn causes surfaces to start generating mold. Heat only makes one feel hot but humidity actually spoils the environment.

Dehumidifier suppliers have more scope in humid regions such as Srilanka, which are highly coastal regions and may experience more humidity than other places which are away from coasts. Dehumidifiers serve as the one stop solution for problems created by the humid effect of the climate such as stink caused by humidity, mold and mold related infections in people and pets.

For humid regions it is not enough to have an air-conditioner alone, having a dehumidifier in the home or office also becomes more essential. The basic function of air-conditioners is to convert the warm air to cool air, some models of air-conditioners go a step further and remove bacteria from the air that we breathe. However air-conditioners do not help much when it comes to controlling humidity. This can be done only with the help of a dehumidifiers.

Dehumidifier suppliers understand the importance of keeping homes and offices free from humidity related health and sanitation issues which is why in places such as Srilanka, dehumidifier suppliers find a greater footing than in places which do not experience humidity.
