Facial Tissue for Keeping Child Care Facility Clean and Germ Free

Winters are here, and children are already beginning to suffer from cold and flu. For a child care facility, it means everyone suffering from runny noses. If the center is not well prepared for the season and doesn’t handle things the right way, it could lead to contamination and the spread of germs. Especially, kids have trouble realizing how important it is to use tissues. Therefore, it’s the care givers who must ensure that kids’ noses remain dry and clean. The center must provide facial tissue papers to all the staff and children.

If you want best possible results, keep the tissues in all the rooms, at a convenient location. It’ll be best to keep tissues where children can easily reach them. There’s a good chance that kids are going to use their shirtsleeve, but if they can easily access tissue, they’d rather use them.

One part of care-givers job should be to inspire kids to make use of tissues by explaining the importance. When children use their shirt for wiping their noses, they increase the chances that their friends could become sick.

Let them use more than one tissue, but at the same time don't let them take it as a game and cause wastage. It’s easy to see that kids could end up having all the tissues lying on the floor. Keep a trash bag in the area so that children can dispose of the facial tissues after having cleaned their noses. Guide kids to wash their hands after wiping the nose, using soap and water.
