The basis of numerology lies in the individual’s full name and birth date. Basically, three types of numbers are relevant in this context, Psychic number, Name number and Destiny number. The Psychic number is dependent on the birth date hence if your birth date happens to be a single number say 6th June then it is 6 and if it is 16th June then it will be their sum which is 7. With each of these single digit numbers are associated with the individual’s traits.

The Destiny number is obtained by summing the date, month and year of birth, say if it is 06/06/1978 then t will be 6+6+1+9+7+8=37 which has to be split into 3+7=10 and again, 1+0=1.

The Name number is summation of all digits associated with each alphabet of your name. Sometimes people change their name for a better name number which in turn enhance attributes of destiny and psychic numbers.
